Day 154 - Goal Setting, 1 of 5 - Define What You Want


A lot of people set goals in one step. 

This is one of the primary reasons you will fail to accomplish goals. Life will get in the way. Unforeseen values, expectations or relationships might pull you away from your goal. 

You will want to start with a strong foundation when setting your goals. First organize what you want to accomplish by answering the following questions. 

  1. What do I want? (Be specific) 
  2. Why do I want it? 
  3. When do I want it by? (Be specific) 

You can use a goals step 1 spreadsheet like this to better organize your goals and then structure them by date.
